Состоялся международный конкурс эссе «Добро пожаловать в Санкт‑Петербург!» Главный приз - поездка в Северную Венецию.
В мае-июне 2012 года состоялся международный конкурс «Добро пожаловать в Санкт‑Петербург!» для зарубежных читателей газеты «Метро».
Тема конкурса: «Почему я мечтаю увидеть Петербург?».
В конкурсе приняли участие более 200 человек из Нидерландов, Португалии, Венгрии, Швеции, Дании.
Главный приз - поездка в Санкт‑Петербург на 5 дней на двоих – присужден Фредерику Перейре из Португалии. Он не только в прозе, но и в стихах убедил жюри:
St. Petersburg, it’s my dream to see,
It’s the place, I wish, I could be,
Built by Peter the great, the visionary,
Who make S. Petersburg an imperial city!
To visit the Peter and Paul Fortress, if I could?
Sure!!! I definitely would!
And see the church on spilt blood luxury?
It’s worth it, seems it came from a world of fantasy.
To take a walk in avenues like Nevskiy
Would be a wide and spacious reality,
It’s majestic like Paris!
It’s different like Venice!
The Venice of the North! The window of Europe,
The thought of seeing it, is my greatest hope
May to July, it becomes white,
Yes, it does have especial white nights!!
Enjoying the Romantic view over the Neva River,
Would be a keepsake to my heart forever!!
It’s an oasis cultural,
Well it’s also multicultural!
Take a look at the State Museum Hermitage,
It’s a world art and historical collection Heritage,
A night to appreciate typical Ballet at Marrinsky,
Would be very interesting, pleasant and pretty,
Do not forget the writers like Maximo Gorky
Or the great memorial museum of Fyodor Dostoyevsky!!
I do wish I was lucky,
To enjoy this trip of a life unique opportunity,
To see one of the world beauty!!
