On April 16 through 17, 2010, the events designed to develop and strengthen cultural, educational, scientific and business ties of compatriots living in the Kingdom of Denmark with Russia and St.Petersburg were run at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Copenhagen (Denmark).
Within the framework of the Program of St.Petersburg Government to implement the state policy of the Russian Federation concerning the compatriots abroad for 2008-2010
On April 16 through 17, 2010, the events designed to develop and strengthen cultural, educational, scientific and business ties of compatriots living in the Kingdom of Denmark with Russia and St.Petersburg were run at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Copenhagen (Denmark).
The schedule included:
· refresher course «Trends in Modern Russian language and Language Preservation in Emigration»
· Round table «Preserving the Russian Language and Culture in Denmark»
· Master-classes for teachers of Russian-languaged kindergartens and schools for additoional education
· Opening of a photo exhibition devoted to Leningrad Siege, timed to the 65th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945
· donation of the kits of teaching aids in Russian language, books on history and culture of Russia and St.Petersburg, intended for the organizations of compatriots and educational institutions in Denmark, to the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Copenhagen.
