March 15, 2019 in Saint-Petersburg chamber of Commerce and industry held a meeting the Chairman of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg Evgeny Grigoriev with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao people's Democratic Republic, comrade Civiemme Petrasek.
During the meeting, they summed up the results of the St. Petersburg small and medium business partnership "St. Petersburg-regions of Russia and abroad", which ended on the eve of the XIII St. Petersburg, in which comrade Phetvorasak took an active part.
Stressing the success of the event, the Ambassador of Laos expressed an active interest in the development of economic cooperation between St. Petersburg and his country.
For his part, Evgeny Grigoriev supported such an initiative, and expressed the hope that in the coming year the experience gained by St. Petersburg in the development of cooperation between local and foreign entrepreneurs, including those from South-East Asia, in the coming year will help to increase bilateral trade and economic ties with Laos. To this end, he said, it is necessary to hold a number of meetings between businessmen from our city and Laos, who will be able to reach agreements in the areas of interest to them within the framework of the bilateral dialogue.
At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the foreign relations Committee congratulated Sevenspace Pitoresca happy belated birthday, wishing him good health and successful work for the benefit of the strengthening of Russian-Lao friendship.
