    From 5 to 7 February 2019 in The Russian house of science and culture in Berlin (Germany) are Days of "Lenfilm"

    Visitors will be presented with screenings dedicated to the 69th Berlin international film festival.

    In the program:
    - February 5, 19.00 - "Voices in the old walls" (eng.sub.);-
    February 6, 19.00 - " Overcoat "(1926);-
    February 7, 19:00 – " One "(1931, the first sound black and white film"Lenfilm").

    "Voices in the old walls", directed by Alexander Pozdnyakov, documentary (2019).
    The film even says the walls of the Studio, because they filmed their paintings of modern classics-Vitaly Melnikov, Igor Maslennikov, Vitaly Aksenov, Sergei Snezhkin, Alexander Sokurov, Konstantin Lopushansky, Vyacheslav Sorokin. The voices of the great Directors Grigory Kozintsev, Friedrich Ermler, Ilya Averbach can be heard. The integral sound of such films-noises and rustles from the chirping of the projection device-a kind of voice of the movie. Bright pages of his life remember the actor George Calm, producer Sergei Selyanov and actress Galina Bokashevskaya. About the movie say Director Alexei German Jr., General Director of "Lenfilm" Eduard Pichugin, actors Eugene Sidikhin, Ilya Noskov, Vladimir Litvinov and the author of the film.
    The walls of St. Petersburg cinema are also "Lennauchfilm", a documentary film Studio, a cinema House, a creative House in Repino and a Theatre Academy. While watching the viewer is dipped in the era of "the great silent", having been at the filming of the first domestic "films" "Ponizova freemen" on the lake of Razliv.

    "The overcoat" (1926)

The little official sighs hopelessly about the beautiful Stranger who appears to him on Nevsky prospect in an aura of sparkling snowflakes.

    "One "(1931)
    the First sound black-and-white film"Lenfilm". The picture of Grigory Kozintsev and Leonid Trauberg tells about the first steps of a young teacher who began work at a school in the distant Altai and faced there with local fists.

    The paintings will be shown with 35 mm film provided by the German Cinemateca.
