The events were attended by a Scottish delegation consisting of representatives of the St. Petersburg forum (Paisley, Scotland), Robert burns world Federation, Scottish organizations and institutions.
January 31 at the Russian National library (Moskovsky prospect, 165) opened a book and illustrative exhibition " from James Bruce to the present day: Scots in St. Petersburg " (will last until 26 February 2019).
The results of the competition of works of art in the style of the Scottish artist Charles Macintosh, made by students of St. Petersburg schools, and the essay competition on the works of Robert burns were summed up.
The pupils of school № 455 for the opening ceremony of the days of Scotland in St. Petersburg prepared a concert in the Scottish style.
In addition, a ceremony was held to donate to the Mitchell library in Glasgow a digital copy of the famous "Scottish album" with letters of support for women of Scotland for residents of the besieged Leningrad, sent by them in 1942.

Also during the visit to St. Petersburg, the Scottish delegation laid flowers at the Monument to the heroic defenders of Leningrad.
There were art and literary competitions, competition " do you know Scotland?"among the students of St. Petersburg schools, as well as a gala evening dedicated to Robert burns.
During the meeting at the St. Petersburg international cooperation Association, the results of joint projects were summed up and prospects for the future were outlined.
