    Commemorative events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade and organized with the assistance of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg, were held around the world

    1) in Hanover (Germany) in the framework of the evening of memory, held on January 27, a large creative program was organized. Classical music, popular songs and poems of the war years were represented.. There were stories about life in the besieged city during the war. Students of the St. Petersburg city Palace of creativity of young prepared for veterans living in Germany, special envelopes "Children of the world – children of war".
    With the assistance of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg, all participants of the solemn meeting were given ribbons of the Leningrad blockade, made by the Committee on press and interaction with the media.

    2) in the Russian center of science and culture in Beirut (Lebanon) in the gala evening dedicated to the anniversary of the Leningrad victory, attended not only the blockade, but also other Russian compatriots, including young people and residents of Lebanon. All guests were presented with badges depicting a swallow with a letter in its beak-a symbol of the Leningrad victory and the unbroken spirit of Leningrad. At the party was presented a photo exhibition "I'm talking to you from Leningrad", prepared by the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg, and the feature film "we looked into the face of death" Studio "Lenfilm". Participants read poems and listened to the memories of the blockade.
    The event was organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Lebanon with the support of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg.

    3) in the partner city of St. Petersburg in Cyprus-Limassol memorable events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade were held with the participation of schools.
    Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the cities, a joint creative action was organized by the Academic gymnasium of St. Petersburg No. 56 and the Russian-English school L. I. T. C. in Cyprus.
    Primary school students together with their parents participated in the drawing competition on the siege of Leningrad. A meeting with the producer and co-author of films on Patriotic themes Alexander Smolko was organized for students of the 6th and 7th grades. There was a viewing and discussion of the film "Life is a gift" about the sports blockade, a meeting with one of the heroes of the film Alexander Ivanitsky was organized.
    Pupils of 8 classes also participated in the competition of readers on the theme "Blockade of Leningrad".

    4) in Greece, commemorative events were held at the Information business center of St. Petersburg in Alexandroupolis. A multimedia broadcast of the photo exhibition "I'm talking to you from Leningrad" was organized, which was also distributed through social networks. In the local press focused, including, on the big Russian Diaspora living in the territory of Northern Greece, the congratulation of the Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov was published. Subsequently, a photo exhibition on the siege of Leningrad will be held in other Greek partner cities, with which cooperation agreements have been signed at the city, district and municipal levels.

    5) in Yerevan (Armenia) the laying of flowers at the monument to the children of besieged Leningrad, evacuated to Armenia during the great Patriotic war, will be held tomorrow, January 31. Directly in memorable days from January 25 to January 29 blockade from Armenia were in St. Petersburg. Upon returning from the Northern capital, the Rossotrudnichestvo office will organize a General meeting, a film screening and a photo exhibition for them. The events will be held in Yerevan and Gyumri.
