The delegation was headed by the Chairman of Press and Media Relations Committee S.G. Serezleev. The delegation was composed of the members of the executive branch of the Government of St. Petersburg and representatives of medical institutions, as well as performers from an artistic group.
On 21 September 2018 the delegation of St. Petersburg took part in the Moldovan-Russian Economic Forum in the capital of the Republic of Moldova – Chisinau. The Forum was organized by President of the Republic of Moldova I.N. Dodon from the Moldovan side and Co-Chairman of All-Russian Public Organization Delovaya Rossiya A.G. Nazarov from the Russian side.
On 22 September 2018 the delegation of St. Petersburg laid flowers to Pushkin monument and Stefan cel Mare (Stephen the Great) monument in Chisinau.
The Events in the ATU of Gagauzia commenced with the meeting with the First Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the ATU of Gagauzia V.P. Cheban. In the course of the conversation the Parties discussed the results of collaboration and perspective directions for cooperation.
The Government of St. Petersburg donated a batch of fiction books and educational literature and a soccer uniforms kit to Ceadir-Lunga vocational school as humanitarian aid.
As part of the Mission round table discussions on themes of mutual interest (Trade and Economic Cooperation, Cooperation in Education, Cooperation in Youth Policy) were organized.
St. Petersburg physicians conducted consultations for the public and master classes for their Gagauzian colleagues.
As cultural part of the Mission, performance by Sweet Hot Jazz Band took place in the House of Culture of Chirsova village. The concert audience was greeted by Bashkan of Gagauzia I.F. Vlah and the Chairman of Press and Media Relations Committee S.G. Serezleev who delivered a welcoming address on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg G.S. Poltavchenko.
At the ATU of Gagauzia Directorate-General for Education, Cooperation Agreement was signed between State Budget Preschool Educational Institution No. 119 of Frunzensky District of St. Petersburg with children’s artistic and aesthetic development as priority activity and Kindergarten No. 5 Rodnichok of Comrat municipality.
On 23 September 2018 the delegation of St. Petersburg attended Gagauz Gergefi Folk Costume Festival in Vulkaneshti where its members jointly with President of the Republic of Moldova I.N. Dodon and Bashkan of the ATU of Gagauzia I.F. Vlah participated in the artistic groups parade and workshops for making wool thread and sheepskin tanning and a runway walk wearing national dresses.
