An international conference «Development of Small-Scale Business in St.Petersburg: Problems and Prospects» was held in Smolny on May 26, 2009 (within the confines of the project «Cooperation of St.Petersburg with the Nordic Countries to Support Small- and Medium-Scale Businesses»).
At the conference, the representatives of Committee for External Relations, Committee for Economic Development, Industry and Trade, Committee on Information and Communications, Committee on Labour and Employment for the Population of St.Petersburg, St.Petersburg Foundation for Development of Small- and Medium-Scale Businesses made their reports, as well as the representatives from the Nordic countries (Finland and Denmark).
