On October 15 through 22, 2011, a delegation of the descendants of A.S.Pushkin, as well as the lyceum students from the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, and Austria visited St.Petersburg to participate in the commemoration of the bicentenary to the Imperial Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, with the assistance of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.
On October 15 through 22, 2011, a delegation of the descendants of A.S.Pushkin, as well as the lyceum students from the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, and Austria visited St.Petersburg to participate in the commemoration of the bicentenary to the Imperial Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, with the assistance of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.
To celebrate the bicentenary to the Imperial Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, the delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the International Lyceum Festival “Autumn in Tsarskoe Selo”, the international scientific conference “Imperial Lyceum of Tsarskoye Selo in the History of Russia of the XIX–XXI Centuries” at Tavricheskiy Palace, the ceremonial meeting, gala concert at the Museum-Lyceum and a concert in Academic Capella.
For over 20 years, on the eve of the anniversary of the Lyceum, which is celebrated on October 19, the International Lyceum Festival “Autumn in Tsarskoe Selo» is run (www.museumpushkin.ru). Organizers of the Festival are All-Russia Pushkin Museum, Memorial Museum-Lyceum, Capella “Tavricheskaya”, and “Art Assembly”, supported by the Russian Federation Government and Ministry for Culture, and St.Petersburg Government and Committee for Culture.
