On March 14, 2011, the open presentation by Mr Jon Olafsson, Professor of Bifrost University (Iceland), took place in in the House of Finland with the assistance of the Information Bureau of Nordic Council of Ministers in St.Petersburg. Its topic was “The Nordic Countries - Active Participation in International Activities”.

The event was attended by the representatives of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.
As a part of the presentation, a phenomenon was considered of post-crisis Iceland through the prism of relations of this country with the Nordic countries and the “big world”.
