    Kharkiv Hosted a Thematic Evening Devoted to the Life and Works of O. Bergholz

    On March 12, 2011, a thematic evening devoted to the life and works of O. Bergholz was held at the House-Museum of People's Artist of USSR K.I. Shulzhenko with the assistance of the Information and Business Center of St.Petersburg in Kharkiv, timed to commemorating the centenary of International Women's Day on March 8.

    On March 12, 2011, a thematic evening devoted to the life and works of O. Bergholz was held at the House-Museum of People's Artist of USSR K.I. Shulzhenko with the assistance of the Information and Business Center of St.Petersburg in Kharkiv, timed to commemorating the centenary of International Women's Day on March 8.
    Organizers: Regional Public Organization “The Residents of Leningrad Siege”, Kharkiv Museum of K.I.Shulzhenko, and LLC Momot-Beton”, with the support of the Consulate General of Russia in Kharkiv.
    At the meeting, the following events took place:

    • Presentation of the book by Kharkov writer Olga Maksimovna Okonevskaya “...And I'll come back again”, devoted to the life and work of Olga Fedorovna Bergholz – a poetess, Leningrad Siege resident, an honorary citizen of St.Petersburg;
    • a show of a documentary about the life and work of OF Bergholz, devoted to the centenary from her birth, commented by O.M. Okonevskaya;
    • a thematic concert.
    S.D.Karpenko, Executive Director of the Information and Business Center of St.Petersburg in Kharkiv, together with V.I. Filipp, Consul General of Russia in Kharkiv, handed to the society activists the gifts and souvenirs on behalf of the Consulate General of Russia in Kharkiv and St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.
