    On November 11 through 17, 2010, a “St.Petersburg Theatre Season in Israel” was performed, with the support of the Government of St.Petersburg.

    On November 11 through 17, 2010, a “St.Petersburg Theatre Season in Israel” was performed, with the support of the Government of St.Petersburg.

    The Art-director of the project is Viktor Minkov. The festival has already gained interest among the European public in Prague, Berlin, and Helsinki.

    This year, the best Petersburg drama theatres are in Israel. The residents of Tel Aviv could see the performances: “Oscar and the Pink Lady” by Lensovieta Theatre, “PRO Turandot” by “Comedian’s Shelter” Theatre,“Ivanov” by “This Theatre”, “Don Giovanni” by V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Theatre, and a unique exhibition of dolls “Masterpieces of World Literature” Staged at Demmeni Theatre.

    A great interest among the residents of Haifa was striken by the performances of “Nuptials of Krechinskiy” by Comedy Theatre named after N.P. Akimov and a solo performance “Oscar and the Pink Lady” by A.B. Freundlich, People’s Artist of USSR.
