    Course on Stable Development and Regulation in Central and Eastern Europe and the Visegrad countries

    On November 14 through 17, 2010, Town Szentendre (Hungary) held a meeting of a special session following the course on stable development and regulation in Central and Eastern Europe and the Visegrad countries. Organizers of the event were Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (Hungary) and Italian Trust Fund, with the assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

    On November 14 through 17, 2010, Town Szentendre (Hungary) held a meeting of a special session following the course on stable development and regulation in Central and Eastern Europe and the Visegrad countries. Organizers of the event were Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (Hungary) and Italian Trust Fund, with the assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

    The purpose of the event was to continue the international dialogue started and to deliver a comprehensive review of environmental, social, and economic sustainability to the government officials, in accordance with their responsiblities.

    A similar program was successfully carried out in St.Petersburg for the officials of St.Petersburg and Leningrad Region in June, and in Venice in July this year. Positive feedback was received from the participants.
