On May 19, 2009 the results were summed up of the programs, and English-speaking Union of the St.Petersburg Association for International Cooperation at the General Consulate of Great Britain in St.Petersburg, that were organized with the support of the Consulate General of Great Britain in St.Petersburg and St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations during 2008-2009.

The event was attended by pupils, students, and teachers of St.Petersburg schools and higher-education institutions who took part in the Days of Scotland, the Festival of Shakespeare's Drama, contest of public-speaking skills in English language, contests of guides and interpreters, as well as the participants of environmental quiz «Climatic Break» - a joint project of the British Consulate General and the Children's Ecological Center at SUE «Vodokanal Saint-Petersburg».
