    The First Meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee over the Program “South-Eastern Finland – Russia” for 2007–2013 Held in Helsinki

    In Helsinki (Finland), the first session of the Joint Monitoring Committee over the program “South-Eastern Finland – Russia” for 2007–2013 was held on March 11 through 12, within the confines of the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument, which was attended by the representatives of the St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.


    In Helsinki (Finland), the first session of the Joint Monitoring Committee over the program “South-Eastern Finland – Russia” for 2007–2013 was held on March 11 through 12, within the confines of the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument, which was attended by the representatives of the St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.

    At the session, current issues of program implementation were considered. The decisions were made concerning the structure of monitoring committee, its chairmanship, the structure of qualifying committee, the informative and indicative financial plan for 2009. The possibility was examined to open the first round of this year applications, and other important issues concerning the implementation of the program were discussed as well.
