A Seminar on the Program “EuroRussia” Held in Helsinki at the Trade Representation of Russia in Finland on March 12

In Helsinki, at the Trade Representation of Russia in Finland, a workshop over the program “EuroRussia” took place on March, 12, chaired by E.V. Lukyanov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-Western Federal District.

In Helsinki, at the Trade Representation of Russia in Finland, a workshop over the program “EuroRussia” took place on March, 12, chaired by E.V. Lukyanov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-Western Federal District.

The seminar was attended by the representatives of Russian and Finnish ministries, regional authorities, chambers of commerce and industry, and business circles of both countries.
The participants discussed the results of the program for 1999-2007 and the possibility and viability of resuming its activities in the future.

The secretariat of the program was commissioned to prepare the proposals for further activities and events and submit these to the next workshop, preliminary planned to be held in St. Petersburg in June 2009.
