    The Second Russian-Vietnamese Youth Forum started in Hanoi

    On July 23, 2019, in the city of Hanoi (Socialist Republic of Vietnam), as part of the Year of the Russian Federation in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Year of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation, the Second Russian-Vietnamese Youth Forum was opened. The forum is held jointly by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia and the State Committee for Youth Affairs of Vietnam with the participation of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg. The main goal of the Forum is to intensify Russian-Vietnamese cooperation in the youth sector.

    The program of the event includes discussion platforms during which representatives of Russian and Vietnamese youth will exchange views on pressing issues of bilateral relations and lay the foundation for the implementation of joint projects. In addition, during the event, delegates will visit the cultural and historical sights of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

    The forum, which runs until July 28, is attended by young people from different regions of Russia, including 6 people from St. Petersburg.

    The next, Third Russian-Vietnamese Youth Forum will be held at the end of 2019 in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

    Recall that the First Russian-Vietnamese Youth Forum was held in the Northern capital in November 30 - December 2, 2018. The forum was attended by representatives of Vietnamese youth, both those who arrived from the city of Ho Chi Minh City and students in St. Petersburg. The city on the Neva was represented by students and young people interested in the culture and history of Vietnam.
