    The assembly production of elevator equipment of the Russian-Belarusian enterprise "MLM Nevsky Elevator" LLC has opened in St. Petersburg

    The production is located in the city of Kolpino (Finlandskaya str, 38) and covers an area of ​​1730 square meters. meters of premises rented on a long-term basis. The staff of workers and engineers will be about 30 people. For warehousing of finished products, an additional area of ​​2000 square meters is provided. meters.

    At the initial stage, it is planned to localize 30% of the elevator equipment manufacturing operations at the production site in St. Petersburg. As noted, the management of "MLM Nevsky Elevator", transferred part of the technological chain from Mogilev to St. Petersburg, in particular, metal cutting and processing, as well as assembly operations. Reducing transport leverage (there is no need to bring Russian metal to Belarus, where it is processed and delivered to St. Petersburg in the form of finished products) will optimize costs and positively affect the ratio of quality and price of products.

    “The elevator equipment, which will be assembled in St. Petersburg, focuses on modern solutions in technology and design,” said Oleg Koptyaev, CEO of "MLM Nevsky Elevator" from the stage.

    As Andrei Khlutkov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, emphasized, “In St. Petersburg, products from the Republic of Belarus have long been known and loved. Cooperation with Belarusian partners brings good economic results. So, according to the results of last year, the volume of trade between St. Petersburg and the Republic of Belarus reached $ 2.3 billion, which corresponds to 5th place in the rating of countries - trading partners of St. Petersburg. "

    The production will use Russian machines, as well as Belarusian and European equipment.

    At the first stage, the production of elevators in the amount of up to 1000 units is localized. in year. The plans for the next three years to enter production annually over 2000 units.

    Passenger elevators with a carrying capacity of 400 and 630 kg of the improved series will be delivered to the North-West market for residential and commercial real estate, as well as for the needs of enterprises.

    For reference: LLC "MLM Nevsky Elevator" is a project that is being implemented in St. Petersburg as part of the Cooperation Program between the Government of St. Petersburg and the Republic of Belarus. The owners of the company are OJSC Mogilevliftmash (50.75%) and LLC MLM Neva Trade (49.25%).
