On June 9 through 11, Dirk Hilbert, the first Mayor of Dresden with the responsibility for Economic Affairs, was in St.Petersburg for a business trip.
Dirk Gilbert participated in the 2nd Russo-European conference on enhancing the cooperation in the area of nanoelectronic technologies (at the St.Petersburg Academic University at RAS) and made a report «Dresden as Leading European Center for High Technology».
During the visit, Dirk Hilbert had a negotiation with A.D. Tsukanov, Head of the Innovation Policy Office at the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy, and Trade, concerning the cooperation of St.Petersburg and Dresden in the area of high technologies.
