    Meeting with the President of the U.S. Civil Research and Development Foundation

    On April 26, 2010, A.S. Maksimov, Chairman of the Committee for Science and Higher Education, had at Smolny a conversation with Kathleen Campbell, President of the U.S. Civil Research and Development Foundation (CRDF).

    On April 26, 2010, A.S. Maksimov, Chairman of the Committee for Science and Higher Education, had at Smolny a conversation with Kathleen Campbell, President of the U.S. Civil Research and Development Foundation (CRDF).

    U.S. Civil Research and Development Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the joint Russian-American projects in the area of natural sciences and engineering, and assists the implementation of the research and development results. K. Campbell is also a member of the US-Russia Innovation Council on High Technologies.

    The meeting was also attended by: V.V. Kurakin, Head of the U.S. Civil Research and Development Foundation in Russia, R.B. Andreev, Representative of CRDF in St.Petersburg, S.V. Kozyrev, Director of the Center for Prospective Research at St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University, I.Yu. Tolstov, General Director of the Technopark of St.Petersburg.

    During the meeting, the participants exchanged opinions on opportunities for cooperation, including the development of innovation infrastructure. A. S. Maximov invited K. Campbell to take part in St.Petersburg forum «Science and Society. Information Technologies» with the participation of Nobel Prize winners (October 2010), as well as in the International Innovation Forum 2010.
