On July 15, 2019, a meeting was held in Smolny with a delegation of the Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by Deputy Head of the Office of the Central Committee of the CPV Com. Chan Viet Hung.

On the Russian side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg - Chairman of the Committee for Public Service and Personnel Policy Mikhailov AS, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg - Head of the Secretariat V. Kablukov, Acting Chairman of the Committee for informatization and communications Sokolov AA, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Kalganov V.G.

The delegation arrived to discuss practical issues on the use of electronic document management and the organization of electronic government.

Representatives of the Chancellery of the CPV Central Committee were introduced to the system of public authorities of St. Petersburg and the principles of electronic document management used in the work of the Administration of St. Petersburg.

Delegations also spoke about the benefits of public administration and working with citizens' appeals within the framework of this system.

Comrade Chan Viet Hung thanked the Russian side for the information provided and noted the special warmth shown in receiving the Vietnamese delegations.

The parties agreed on further cooperation in this area.
