The visit was organized as a continuation of the agreements reached during the VIII Russian-Kyrgyz interregional conference (held in Bishkek on March 27, 2019).
The delegation included producers of breakfast cereals, as well as canned vegetables and fruits.
In St. Petersburg, Kyrgyz food producers took part in a trade and procurement session. Meetingson the subject of possible deliveries of Kyrgyz products to the St. Petersburg market were held with representatives of retail chains of St. Petersburg (X5 Retail Group, Lenta and Magnit stores).
