    The staff of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg condolences to relatives, friends and colleagues Vera Nikolaevna Brovkina, who left April 4, 2019 on the 85th year of life

    All life and work biography of Vera Nikolaevna is closely connected with our city and development of international relations. Here she experienced severe blockade days, studied, worked in the Executive Committee of the Lensovet, was Deputy Chairman of the Board of the St. Petersburg Association of international cooperation, for many years headed the St. Petersburg Council of peace and harmony.

    Vera Nikolaevna has made a significant contribution to the development of peacekeeping.

    Largely thanks to her efforts, a monument to the Leningrad poet, front-line soldier Mikhail Dudin, who for many years headed the Leningrad Committee for the protection of peace, was opened.

    Her professional and personal qualities earned her well-deserved love and respect of colleagues, the public of the city. Vera Nikolaevna was distinguished by an active life position, enormous diligence, energy and optimism.

    The bright memory of Vera Nikolaevna Brovkina, a deeply decent and devoted person to St. Petersburg, will forever remain in our hearts.
