    On April 2, the State academic Chapel of St. Petersburg hosted a traditional concert dedicated to the Day of unity of the peoples of Russia and Belarus

    The event was organized on the initiative of the interregional public organization "Russian-Belarusian brotherhood" with the support of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg.

    Advisor to the Governor of St. Petersburg Sergey Movchan made a welcoming speech on behalf of the acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. Guests of the event were also welcomed: head of the branch of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg Igor Zalomai and Chairman of the Council of the Russian-Belarusian Brotherhood Alexey Vorontsov.

    The concert program included classical works, romances, music for movies and Russian folk songs performed by the Choir and Symphony orchestra of the State academic Chapel of St. Petersburg under the direction of conductor Vladislav Chernushenko.
