    The "Hunting Club" restaurant became the official participant of "St. Petersburg Cuisine" project. It included in its menu one of the favorite dishes of Emperor Alexander II.

    On March 19, 2019, a Memorandum of Cooperation  between the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and the "Hunting Club" restaurant was signed.

    The document provides for the interaction of the parties within its competence in the field of exchange and dissemination of information about "St. Petersburg Cuisine" project, its promotion and the formation of a recognizable brand through the use of a logotype.

    Restaurant menu contains such traditional dishes marked with the logo of "St. Petersburg Сuisine" brand as Ladoga smelt, cream of porcini mushroom soup, "Napoleon" cake, and stewed bear meat - one of the favorite dishes of Emperor Alexander II (recipe source is "Home cooking" by  Devrien A.D., 1908).

    All dishes are presented in the restaurant menu on an ongoing basis.

    Reference: "St. Petersburg Cuisine" project, launched in 2014, is aimed at reviving the culinary traditions of St. Petersburg and promoting our city not only as a cultural, but also as a gastronomic capital of Russia.

    Leading Russian and European restaurants are invited to participate in the Project. In their menu they present items from the list of St. Petersburg Cuisine Dishes, recommended by experts in the historical and gastronomic field.
