    St. Petersburg and Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) develop cooperation in the field of culture

    March 15, 2019, with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, master classes in vocal and  musical instruments playing - piano, flute and violin - were held in Chisinau at the Music boarding lyceum named after S.V. Rakhmaninov.

    Master classes were conducted by teachers of the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum. The first joint concert of pupils from two lyceums also took place.

    In addition, a cooperation agreement between the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum and the Chisinau Music boarding lyceum named after S.V. Rakhmaninov was signed.

    The director of the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum, Vitaly Romanov, noted that thanks to such meetings and master classes, international friendship is not only growing and gaining strength, but also new opportunities  for musicians are emerging.
