The perfomance was organized by the External Affairs Committee of St. Petersburg in support of compatriots living in Lithuania, as well as the Agreement on cooperation between the Government of St. Petersburg and the Municipality of Kaunas.
The concert, which took place on the stage of the Kaunas state Philharmonic, was attended by Russian compatriots living in Kaunas, including representatives and students of the Kaunas gymnasium n.a. Pushkin A.S., Russian cultural centers of Kaunas, Vilnius and other cities of Lithuania.

The festival is traditionally attended by famous actors and artists from Russia and other countries, as well as honored creative teams from St. Petersburg.
The festival contributes to the acquaintance of the Lithuanian population with Russian art, particularly with the rich musical culture of St. Petersburg.
