As Yevgeniy Grigoriev, the chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg, noted, “The tradition of holding of “Petersburg meetings in Tallinn” and “Tallinn meetings in Saint Petersburg” alternately exists for almost 20 years. The first events took place in the capital of Estonia in 1999. It is gratifying that today, even in a complex foreign policy context, the partner project continues to be in demand. “Meetings” always have an integrated nature and unite specialists from different areas, contributing towards strengthening contacts between partner cities”.
