    On September 6 – 8th, 2017 Days of Yerevan will be held in St. Petersburg

    The delegation of the Armenian capital will be led by the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan.  The delegation will include representatives of the executive bodies of the city government, heads of cultural institutions, general education institutions, representatives of the business community, as well as creative teams.

    Within the framework of the official and business program of the Days of Yerevan, the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko will meet with the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation. The meetings on exchange of experience and round tables on the topics "Trade and economic cooperation", "Education", "Tourism" are planned. A procurement session will be held with the participation of Armenian agricultural producers and major St. Petersburg retail chains. An agreement on cooperation will be signed between the secondary general school No. 489 of the Moscovsky District of St. Petersburg and the secondary school No. 181 in Yerevan. Delegation of Yerevan doctors led by Mr. Nikolay Dallakyan, chief children's surgeon of Yerevan will visit leading medical institutions and hold master classes with St. Petersburg colleagues.

    Within the cultural program of the Days, the exhibition "Yerevan. City and People" will be arranged in the Peter-and-Paul Fortress on September 7th, 2017. The exhibition of Armenian manuscripts "The World on Pages" will be presented in the Russian National Library, and the exhibition of paintings "Yerevan Colours" will be held at the St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design on September 7th, 2017. A gala concert "Yerevan Sketches" will be arranged in the St.Petersburg State Academic Capella at 7 pm on September 7th, 2017.
