The participants discussed the expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and the further development of Russian-Emirati cooperation with the promotion of investment cooperation between two countries.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexander Tsybulskiy and UAE Energy Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei.

The Deputy Minister A. Tsybulsky noted that the Russian-Emirati cooperation is gaining tremendous momentum with each year, investment platforms are increasing, bilateral cooperation is actively developing, there is a positive development trend in bilateral regional cooperation.
"For us, UAE are and will be one of the leading trade and economic partners in the Middle East", - Alexander Tsybulsky emphasized.
On the sidelines of the event there was also a presentation of investment potential and projects of the Russian Federation regions and special economic zones, the export potential of Russian regions was shown.
As a result, it was noted that there is already a number of investment projects that can be transferred into practice and implemented.
The meeting of the task group was followed by signing of the protocol.
