Mr. Koivisto remarked that entrepreneurs from Jyväskylä were interested in the development of economic cooperation with St. Petersburg and expressed his willingness to facilitate wider representation of St. Petersburg entrepreneurs in the city of Jyväskylä. For the sake of further interaction, the parties reached a decision to maintain contact at the working level and exchange opinions on the relevant issues regarding cooperation.

Mr. Koivisto visited St. Petersburg in the capacity of the Mayor of Jyväskylä for the first time and participated in the events of the traditional Day of Jyväskylä in St. Petersburg (held on November 18). This year the event was devoted to construction and architecture. The delegation featured representatives of companies from Jyväskylä and the corporation Jyväskylä Regional Development Company “Jukes Ltd”.
