    A Meeting of the Vice Chairman of the Committee for Energetic and Engineering Support of St. Petersburg E. Rozova with the Japanese Delegation on July 9, 2015

    The parties discussed plans for subsequent deepening of bilateral cooperation in the area of development of urban water supply and removal systems

    On July 9, a meeting of the Vice Chairman of the Committee for Energetic and Engineering Support of St. Petersburg Eugenia Rozova with the Japanese delegation which comprised representatives of Osaka town administration, Tokyo and St. Petersburg offices of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) as well as Japanese business structures was held.

    Employees of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and SUE Vodokanal of St. Petersburg took part in the event.

    During the conversation, the parties discussed plans for subsequent deepening of bilateral cooperation in the area of development of urban water supply and removal systems, including for the purposes of reducing the burden on the environment. A focus was on prospects for implementation of joint projects aimed at efficient effluent water sediment usage.

    E. Rozova confirmed St. Petersburg interest in continuation of constructive cooperation with Japanese partners and expressed readiness to comprehensively contribute to its successful development.
