On February 16-19 a delegation from Bordeaux visited St. Petersburg in order to attend business meetings and consultations devoted to promoting cooperation between the two cities.
On February 16-19 a delegation from Bordeaux visited St. Petersburg in order to attend business meetings and consultations devoted to promoting cooperation between the two cities.
The delegation featured representatives from the Department of Foreign Relations of the Bordeaux city administration, from the administration of the Bordeaux Academy and the French Ministry of National Education.
During the visit a number of projects on cooperation between the twin-cities for 2015-2016 were discussed with representatives of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, the Committee of Culture of St. Petersburg, the Committee for Youth Policy and Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations, the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, as well as representatives of the French Institute in St. Petersburg and the State Library for the Blind. Moreover at the meeting of the Bordeaux delegation with the head of the Committee for Education of St. Petersburg the parties discussed the possibility of signing an agreement on cooperation in the area of education.
