The delegation arrived in St-Petersburg with a working trip after having taken part in the 16th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Trade and Economic development in Moscow. The meeting also featured heads of the St. Petersburg Committee of Industrial Policy and innovations, the St-Petersburg Committee on Investments, the Committee of Transport Infrastructure, The St-Petersburg Committee of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning, and St-Petersburg State-Financed Entity “the Business Development Centre”.
The following issues were discussed by the parties:
- The current state of economic cooperation between St-Petersburg and Switzerland.
- The economic potential of St-Petersburg, its investment climate and the strategy of economic development.
- The projects in the area of developing transport infrastructure in St-Petersburg.
- Prospective ways to enhance cooperation between St-Petersburg and Switzerland.
