Mrs. I.Y. Ganus demonstrated the educational and the scientific potential of St. Petersburg, emphasized the importance of the existing contacts between the universities of St. Petersburg and Canada, highlighted the issues of financing for scientific conferences and other international scientific and educational events.
Mrs L. Lumsden pointed out that the universities of Canada are highly interested in finding partners in St. Petersburg, presented the existing summer study placement programs, described the mechanism of cooperation between Canadian universities and potential employers. The parties agreed on data exchange and the development of bilateral contacts.
