    The exhibition called Moon above Ruined Castle was opened in Saint Petersburg

    Opening ceremonies of the Moon above Ruined Castle art exhibition took place on October 11, 2012 in Cultural center of the library named after V.V. Mayakovsky. 

    Opening ceremonies of the Moon above Ruined Castle art exhibition took place on October 11, 2012 in Cultural center of the library named after V.V. Mayakovsky. The exhibition displays works of art of N.A. Maximova, member of Russian Artists Union, companion of Japanese Orient Sun Order and artware from Japan.

    Exhibition opening ceremony was attended by delegates of Japan-Russia society from Shimoda town headed by the Chairperson of the society Mr. T.Sugisaka and from Taketa town headed by the principal of International Affairs Administration of the town council Mr. T.Ikenaga who was in Saint Petersburg with a friendly visit. Within the frameworks of this event the delegates handed over a letter signed by Taketa town Mayor addressed to A.V. Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Committee of External Relations in Saint Petersburg.

    The event is held within the frameworks of the IX Japanese Autumn Festival in Saint Petersburg supported by Consulate General of Japan, Japan-Russia friendship society and Committee of External Relations in Saint Petersburg.

    The exhibition will last till October 23, 2012.

    It is displayed in Central Public City Library named after V.V. Mayakovsky, Library, informational and cultural center of arts and music (20 Nevsky prospect).
