    Melbourne City Council summed up the qualifying competition for the best photo pictures for exhibition in St.Petersburg

    On September 24, 2012, within the confines of joint Russian-Australian project to exchange photo exhibitions between St.Petersburg and Melbourne, Melbourne City Council summed up the qualifying competition for the best photo pictures to show at the exhibition in St.Petersburg.

    On September 24, 2012, within the confines of joint Russian-Australian project to exchange photo exhibitions between St.Petersburg and Melbourne, Melbourne City Council summed up the qualifying competition for the best photo pictures to show at the exhibition in St.Petersburg.
    On November 6, 2012, the best 50 works will be on display in the National Library of Russia (165 Moskovskiy pr.). The three finalists – Craig George, Sharon Walker, and John Tozer – will also visit St.Petersburg.
    Project on photo exhibitions devoted to Melbourne and St.Petersburg is supported by the Melbourne City Council, Council for the Arts in Victoria, and Information Business Center of St.Petersburg in Melbourne.
    The opening ceremony for the project was attended by Robert Doyle, Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Heidi Victoria, Parliamentary Secretary and Advisor on Art to the Prime Minister of Victoria, abd A.Grigoriev, Director of the Information Business Center of St.Petersburg in Melbourne.
    St.Petersburg and Melbourne are partners since 1989.
    In January 2011, IBC of St.Petersburg was opened in Melbourne.
    In August 2012, the world rally "Melbourne–St.Petersburg" was run
    In August - September 2012 Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre toured Melbourne and Sydney.
