    The Team of Teenager Drama Studio from Germany Visited St.Petersburg

    On March 31 through April 7, 2012, “Theatrical St.Petersburg”, a teenager drama studio from Frankfurt visited St.Petersburg by the invitation of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.

    On March 31 through April 7, 2012, “Theatrical St.Petersburg”, a teenager drama studio from Frankfurt visited St.Petersburg by the invitation of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations.

    The studio operates at the Russian cultural, educational, and social center “The Source” (Frankfurt am Main, Germany).

    The visit was organized for the development of cultural contacts of the studio with secondary education institutions of St.Petersburg, within the framework of the St.Petersburg Government program to implement the state policy of Russian Federation converning the compatriots abroad (Program “The Compatriots”).

    A meeting of the studiowas organized with the staff and students of secondary school № 116 of Primorskiy District of St.Petersburg with indepth study of the German language, where they discussed the feasibility of exchange projects.

    Within the confines of the visit, the representatives of the theatrical studio made acquaintance with the historical and cultural heritage of St.Petersburg – a city tour was organized for them, as well as a tour of the Hermitage, St.Isaac’s Cathedral, the Smolny Museum. The studio team visited Peter and Paul Fortress, the Russian Museum, the Alexander Nevskiy Abbey, Church of Our Savior on the Blood. The guests also attended performances at the Youth Theatre on the Fontanka and the Akimov Comedy Theatre.
