    The Presentation of the Notebook-Diary «Youth Ethnocalendar-2012. Day by Day»

    On December 26, 2011, the notebook-diary «Youth Ethnocalendar-2012. Day by Day» was presented at the Russian Museum of Ethnography. Its 365 pages contain a significant amount of information related to raising of a tolerant world view and the formation of civic consciousness: the basic concepts and the opinions of famous people, research findings, examples from daily life.

    On December 26, 2011, the notebook-diary «Youth Ethnocalendar-2012. Day by Day» was presented at the Russian Museum of Ethnography. Its 365 pages contain a significant amount of information related to raising of a tolerant world view and the formation of civic consciousness: the basic concepts and the opinions of famous people, research findings, examples from daily life.

    The publication was prepared by the order of the Committee for External Relations and the Committee for Education of St.Petersburg, within the framework of St.Petersburg Government program «Tolerance». www.spbtolerance.ru .

    Russian President D.A.Medvedev said in his letter to the Federal Assembly on December 22, 2011: «... more attention should be paid to cultural and moral education of children, teaching them tolerance and mutual respect – indeed, like they are now taught of grammar and history. This is necessary in order to preserve our country».
