On November 15, 2011, a “round table” devoted to the 10th anniversary of the International Charitable Foundation named after D.S.Likhachev took place in Hotel “Ambassador”, attended by the representatives of the consulates of foreign countries accredited in St.Petersburg.
The event was attended by I.O.Lonskiy, Deputy Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, and the members of the Likhachev Foundation Directorial Board – Daniil Granin, Yakov Gordin, Alexander Kobak, Evgeniy Anisimov.
During the meeting, the brightest pages of the international activity of the Foundation were presented, aimed at the promotion of St.Petersburg and the Russian culture in the international arena, as well as the Foundation plans for the future.
Presentation of the Foundation’s programs aroused the great interest among the members of the diplomatic corps. In particular, representatives of the United States, France, Poland, Israel, Hungary offered the initiative of cooperation with Likhachev Foundation on specific projects.
