    Exhibition of Works by Contemporary Photographers Devoted to St.Petersburg

    On February 24 through 26, 2010, the City Hall in Melbourne (Australia) hosted an exhibition of artworks devoted to St.Petersburg, by contemporary photographers. The exhibition is timed to the 20th anniversary of etstablishing the friendly relations between St.Petersburg and Melbourne.

    On February 24 through 26, 2010, the City Hall in Melbourne (Australia) hosted an exhibition of artworks devoted to St.Petersburg, by contemporary photographers. The exhibition is timed to the 20th anniversary of etstablishing the friendly relations between St.Petersburg and Melbourne.

    The opening of the exhibition was attended by Susan Riley, Vice-Mayor of Melbourne, S.M. Vetrik, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of Russia in Sydney, and the representatives of cultural circles and Russian community in Melbourne.

    V.I. Matvienko, Governor of St.Petersburg, sent her greetings to the partner city of Melbourne for the opening of the exhibition. The photo exhibition is a gift to Melbourne to be exhibited in the museums and cultural institutions of the city.
