    Delegation of St.Petersburg Visited Oslo

    On February 14 through 17, 2010, the delegation of St.Petersburg visited Oslo (Kingdom of Norway). The purpose of the visit was to study the Norwegian experience of innovations in information technology. The delegation was headed by E.G. Tsivirko, Chairman of the Committee for Informatization and Communications.

    On February 14 through 17, 2010, the delegation of St.Petersburg visited Oslo (Kingdom of Norway). The purpose of the visit was to study the Norwegian experience of innovations in information technology. The delegation was headed by E.G. Tsivirko, Chairman of the Committee for Informatization and Communications.

    The members of the delegation:
    - met with S.V. Andreev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in the Kingdom of Norway, representatives of the Research Council of Norway, the Regional Development Agency "Oslo Technopol", and the Mayor Office of Oslo, as well as with the Industrial Development Corporation of Norway "SIVA" (investor of 46 industrial and business parks in Norway, and business parks in Murmansk, Latvia, and Lithuania),
    - visited the Technology Park and development center of innovation "IT Fornebu", the headquarters of the Telenor company,
    - participated in the meeting of the companies – member of the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

    The events were organized by the Committee for External Relations with the active support of the Business Information Center of St.Petersburg in Oslo.
