    House of Finland Opened in St.Petersburg

    On October 25, 2009, the first stage of the House of Finland was inaugurated, located in 8, Bolshaya Konyushennaya St. of St.Petersburg, in the presence of M. Vanhanen, Prime Minister of Finland, and V.V. Putin, Prime Minister of Russia.

    On October 25, 2009, the first stage of the House of Finland was inaugurated, located in 8, Bolshaya Konyushennaya St. of St.Petersburg, in the presence of M. Vanhanen, Prime Minister of Finland, and V.V. Putin, Prime Minister of Russia.

    The solemn opening was also attended by V.I. Matvienko, Governor of St.Petersburg; J. Pajunen, Mayor of Helsinki; M. Pukkinen, Mayor of Turku; H. Lindelöf, Mayor of Kotka; and T.P. Nieminen, Mayor of Tampere.

    On the same day, V.I. Matvienko and J. Pajunen signed in the House of Finland a protocol on coordination of an action plan concerning the cooperation between St.Petersburg and Helsinki for 2010–2012.
