September 30 through October 3, 2009, within the confines of St.Petersburg part of Russian Innovation Week an exhibition «Foreign partners of St.Petersburg» was working at the Exhibition Complex "Lenexpo", featuring the innovative abilities of Australia, Belarus, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine, Finland, Japan, Styria and Graz (Austria), Bavaria and Hamburg (Germany), Dublin (Ireland), Krakow (Poland), Edinburgh (Scotland), etc.

To attend the II St.Petersburg International Innovation Forum, the delegations from 20 countries arrived to St.Petersburg. The delegates took part in the events of the Innovation Week and made their presentations in accordance with the congress program of the Forum.
Also in the Presentation area of the exhibition, the following presentation were held: «Innovative development of Urban Environment» (Hamburg), «Support for Innovative Enterprises by the State Authorities” (Styria, Austria), «Innovations in Melbourne (Australia)», «Rendering the Services for Small and Medium-Scale Businesses by the City Authorities, “Business Scout” Case Study» (Graz, Austria), presentation of North Rhine - Westphalia (Germany), «The Development of Innovations in the Region of Central Finland», «Development of EU-Russia Cooperation in the Area of Innovations», «Dublin: a City of Innovations» (Ireland), presentation of Bavaria (Germany).
On September 30, the round-tables were held with the support of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations discussions: «Smart Road: ICT and Road Safety» and «Tools of the European Union to Promote International Cooperation for Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises in the Innovation Sphere».
