    Fourth Session of Working Group at St.Petersburg Business Cooperation Council and Republic of Belarus

    On September 18, 2009, the fourth session of the working group at Business Cooperation Council of St.Petersburg and Republic of Belarus took place in Grodno (Belarus), with the participation of a delegation of St.Petersburg, headed by M.E. Oseevskiy, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg.

    On September 18, 2009, the fourth session of the working group at Business Cooperation Council of St.Petersburg and Republic of Belarus took place in Grodno (Belarus), with the participation of a delegation of St.Petersburg, headed by M.E. Oseevskiy, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg.

    The delegation included the heads of Tsentralny and Admiralteyskiy districts, deputy heads of a number of branch committees of St. Petersburg, and leaders of industrial, scientific, technical, commercial enterprises and organizations of St.Petersburg.

    At the session, the cooperation in various areas was discussed, including the organization of works for establishing in St.Petersburg a number of joint Russian-Belarusian enterprises, the progress of launching in St. Petersburg a network of 50 Belarusian food shops of the one-step reach kind, the opportunities provided by Belarussian holiday resorts, and much more.

    The delegation also visited a number of meat and dairy plants of Grodno Region, to negotiate and sign the contracts about the supply of products of these enterprises in St.Petersburg.
