Mehmet Cinar, Consul General of Turkey in St.Petersburg, made a speech in the Hall of Scientific Library of St.Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance for teachers and students of the University on May 20, 2009.
Mr Cinar presented historical, cultural and touristic potential of Turkey, and mentioned the promising directions of cooperation of St.Petersburg and Turkey in the areas of culture, education and tourism, including possible joint projects within the framework of celebrating the 20th anniversary of establishing the partnership of St.Petersburg and Istanbul in 2010.
