The representative of German foreign policy institution plans to visits several regions of Russia with the aim to support the projects on promoting the German culture abroad.
In St.Petersburg, Martin Kobler was especially interested by a project of creating in our city a school for children of German diplomats and businesspeople who are temporarily out of the motherland, along with their families. Such school would allow for German children not to interrupt their school lessons and to get teaching in their native language under German programs while their parents have to work abroad.
During the meeting, Martin Kobler mentioned the great interest of Petersburgers, and especially the young people, for German culture and German language. Reference:
Previously, Martin Kobler represented the intetests of DBR in the countries of Asia and Middle East, participated in the peace-bringing processes in Palestine, and headed the German Embassy in Iraq.
