    The Presentation of the Project for Education and Exhibition «The Elusive Mirror of the Year» was held

    A presentation of the project for education and exhibition «The Elusive Mirror of the Year» of the exemplary children's group from the fine arts studio «Transfiguration» was held in the Lecture Hall of Russian Museum (Mikhaylovsky Castle) on February 5.

    A presentation of the project for education and exhibition «The Elusive Mirror of the Year» of the exemplary children's group from the fine arts studio «Transfiguration» was held in the Lecture Hall of Russian Museum (Mikhaylovsky Castle) on February 5.

    The presentation in question is a next stage in development of studio's project «Japan at the Neva Riversides». Since 2005, it passes within the framework of the International Festival «Japanese Spring in St.Petersburg», organized with the assistance of the Committee for External Relations of St.Petersburg.

    The event was participated by the representatives of Consulate General of Japan in St.Petersburg, the Committee for External Relations of St.Petersburg, and the Administration of Central District of St.Petersburg, Russian Museum, as well as the members of Association for International Cooperation.

    The program of the event included:
    • The exhibition of children's drawing devoted to the 110th anniversary of Russian Museum;
    • Colourful fancy-dress performance devoted to the culture of the «Land of the Rising Sun», and display of new collections of fans and kimono «The Seasons»;
    • Recitals of Japanese poetry by the attendants of the studio of declamation art at the City Palace for Youth Creativity;
    • A Musical Greeting in Japanese language, by the pupils of School № 83.
