    A Solemn Ceremony of Handing over the Certificates to the Participants of the Seminar «Ethnic Processes and International Relations in St.Petersburg» Took Place on February 3

    A solemn ceremony of handing over the certificates to the participants of the seminar «Ethnic Processes and International Relations in St.Petersburg», organized by the Committee for External Relations of St.Petersburg within the confines of the «Program for Harmonizing the Inter-ethnic and Intercultural Relations, Preventing the Manifestations of Xenophobia, and Tolerance Strengthening in St.Petersburg for 2006-2010» (the program «Tolerance») took place at «St.Petersburg House of Nations» of StPb SU on February 3.

    A solemn ceremony of handing over the certificates to the participants of the seminar «Ethnic Processes and International Relations in St.Petersburg», organized by the Committee for External Relations of St.Petersburg within the confines of the «Program for Harmonizing the Inter-ethnic and Intercultural Relations, Preventing the Manifestations of Xenophobia, and Tolerance Strengthening in St.Petersburg for 2006-2010» (the program «Tolerance») took place at «St.Petersburg House of Nations» of StPb SU on February 3.

    The seminar was held on November 24 through December 9, 2008 on the basis of the Russian Ethnographic Museum. The participants were the representatives of regional administrations and municipal entities of St.Petersburg, while the lectures were performed by the leading experts from the St.Petersburg State University and other local high-school institutions, Russian Ethnographic Museum, amd the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

    Participants of the seminar have received the theoretical knowledge, as well as a scientific methodology toolkit, which, along with their rich practical experience in the area of international and intercultural relations, is to further assist the successful implementation of the Program «Tolerance».
