    The delegation of inhabitants of Sieged Leningrad, now the residents of Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Israel, visited St.Petersburg to participate in the official events devoted to the 65th anniversary of the complete Leningrad liberation from the fascist blockade.

    The delegation of inhabitants of Sieged Leningrad, now the residents of Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Israel, visited St.Petersburg to participate in the official events devoted to the 65th anniversary of the complete Leningrad liberation from the fascist blockade.

    The delegation arrived under the invitation of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, within the limits of the St.Petersburg Government Program on implementation of the Russian Federation state policy concerning he compatriots abroad. The compatriots have called on: the Forum of Veterans – Defenders, Workers, and Inhabitants of Sieged Leningrad; the Solemn Mourning Ceremony, a concert, and memorable places. The medals «In Honour of the 65th Anniversary of the Complete Leningrad Liberation from the Fascist Blockade» were bestowed on the members of the delegation.
